I'm obsessed with their KFC--korean fried chicken. If you love wings, you need to try it. they're huge, super crunchy and crispy moist and tender on the inside. Warning--you may never go back to regular wings
My boyfriend loves their seafood pancake also! Love getting take out here and highly recommend! -

Kobi-Q is a nicely arranged restaurant in the crossroads area. Wide open layout, with a bar section meets you upon entering, kitchen in the back.
We are fond of BBQ, and wanted to try something new, so here we go.
Nice menu, with good explanations of the dishes. We ordered an entree as an appetizer, the wings, both sweet, and dry. They arrived hot and very tasty. Crisp breading and good flavor, a nice start.
While looking at dinner options, on the website, sushi and Poke bowls. We were disappointed to find their sushi offerings had been discontinued, due to losing their sushi chef. They're supposed to return, but no timetable was given.
With that twist, we ordered spring rolls, crab Rangoon, ginger breaded chicken nuggets, garlic mama chicken, and Kobi Q BBQ Beef.
Let's just say, we ordered a lot of food, and ate it all. All the items were very flavorful with large portions. With two growing boys quantity, with quality is desirable.
We loved everything, the service was attentive, and the experience was very enjoyable.
The one star deduction was based on sushi being advertised, but not offered.
Great job Kobi-Q, and great spin on a KC favorite. -

The bbq beef meat is not bad and the crispy chicken is unexpectedly good!
I like the service and they are efficient. The environment is fine.
The only drawback is that they don't served appetizer dishes like other Korean restaurants. And the kimchi is just ok. -

Three words: Phenomenal Happy Hour. My favorite snack was their Mama chicken. It's like a better version of orange chicken - sweet and crunchy. If you have the chance, come by some weekday from 4-6pm when the price is just right ;)
I have yet to try their korean BBQ, but I'm looking forward to next time! -

Being one of the very few korean restaurants in Kansas City, you definitely gotta give this place some props! Coming on a Saturday night, the service was great and very attentive and even helped out with some recommendations to get. I ended up getting the bibimbap and it was the most satisfying and tasteful asian cuisine I've had so far in KC. It is somewhat pricy ($15) for what it is but it does come in a large portion which you could probably share or have left overs for tomorrow's lunch. I highly suggest y'all come out and give this place a chance!
